  • Maybe someone who still got the original TMU disc can try to install the original game and apply all available updates manually (they should still be around somewhere in the forums I suppose), to see if it makes a difference. Since TMU didn't have legit water physics in TMO environments, it might very well be the cause for this bug to occur in the most recent version.

  • Greetz to everybody

Well, that's a very strange thing here.

I had to reinstall TrackMania on my new PC last Nov. and a manual install of all updates is my regular way to the game. Starting with TMU from CD (Collectors Editition bought in store on the first release day 2007). Step two: installing TMUF from the free download file available only for owners/buyers of TMU (stored on my HDD). Step three: installing the second StarTrack patch (also from HDD) for the since then used final version. The first StarTrack patch/update is only a few weeks older and not neccessary to install inbetween for my game to work. I received all those updatefiles via ingame at their first appearance.
So my game should be a manual install from the earliest possible version.
I checked some Envimix tracks and all the waterphysics work as they logical should do. Means i don't have waterphysics with TMO cars in every envi and working waterphysics with TMS/N cars in every envi.
... so far, so good ...

But why that occurs for somebody still is totally weird. All mentioned solutions for the problem aren't logic imo. On the other hand i only have a very strange idea what possibly could cause this very strange incident: Maybe the TM² envis Canyon/Valley disturbe TMUF.

Nah doubt it. I have TM2 installed in both of my laptops and my physics are different from for example Riolu's which I'm sure he also have TM2 installed

  • I'm almost sure it's about the version that you've downloaded. Steam version has them. Normal bought one has them. The one you download from profile page doesn't.
