To keep a good overview on the many topics about screenshot competitions that are being created these days, we try to keep a good balance of overview and information into the topic titles. Whenever you start a new topic for one of your tracks, write your topictitle like this:


[SC] Trackname | Win: xxxxc | Deadline: dd-mm-yy


Note:
[SC] - A shortened tag for ScreenshotCompetition
Win - Write the best prize one can win. If someone can win 2 prizes, just write the best one.




Example:
[SC] End of Time | Win: 2000c | Deadline: 03-06-09


Some of the most recent topics will be changed by me to give it a start, if your active topic hasn't been changed, do it on your own by editing the first post in the topic. Let's hope everyone will stick to this.

When deadline is reached, please mention 'ENDED' or 'CLOSED' in the topic title
it can also be a good thing to place an hour on the deadline and please stick to it
make sure you can have access at that hour to post that the topic is closed.
entries after that shouldn't count anymore

Also, don't force people to give their top-3. If they want to give one, they will do. When they don't make one, please respect it.

Last thing, when you made your results, keep them like they are.

imo its not really that hard to add a sub-forum

Maybe it is with TMX, maybe it isn't. Everything was coded by them, so I think it's safe to assume that it's not the same as phpBB3 or other forum types.

Here's a reference for people who have run contests and may need someone's in-game login in order to send copper winnings. It's also an interesting look at the 57 people who have submitted screens in screen contests here on TMX United.
