There are some tracks in the top 20 where nothing happens since weeks. Nobody is interested to test them anymore but the trackbuilders do not see any need to change this tracks. For me playpal is a place, where I can find interesting tracks and where it makes fun to have the challenge with other drivers and trackmappers, but if the tracks are not changing for weeks (and some of the tracks are in the top 20 for more then 3 or 4 weeks) the whole thing gets boring.

I think the point is that there are no new tracks or users playing the system, simple as that. So the tracks in the top20 atm are actually the most recent.

I think you can help it by relaxing the rules on how 'good' replays must be. Allowing exclusion to happen by people posting replays makes playpal go round....

My track "Vertigo" was excluded because it is too hard for most of players. The difficulty is not "lunatic" for nothing.
However, it is the most awarded of my tracks. Thanks to PlayPal! -
I don't think that my track is too old because it got four awards in the last three days. But in general I think you're right. Some tracks are in PlayPal for weeks and weeks and nothing happens. Nobody drives them and nobody is uploadind a replay. How about a time limit of two weeks for PlayPal-tracks?

One of my tracks is in the list above, I had 1.3 karma or something and had forgotten about it. Recently I played a few PlayPal tracks got my karma up to 7 or 8, boom, 2 more replays were uploaded now my track has 10 replays. Instant success!
So it's nothing to do with old dead tracks, just not enough people playing the system.
I've nearly exhausted all of my tracks available for PayPal - it goes round, I can't force people to play the system. -
Its true that every time Ive ever used it, the tracks get played and replays posted, and becuase my author times are usually beatable and the track is not mega hard, mine will get excluded or I will change it anyway...
But there is a problem with tracks that are too hard and people give up on them or end up posting replays which are not good enough... thats why I think it should be easier for tracks to become excluded... trying to get within 10% of the author time on some tracks just isnt fun
The best time on playpal was when it was 10 replays and you're outLast edited byMrA
